Founded in 1987, the Queensland Japan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (QJCCI) is an independent, member-funded organisation dedicated to the development of commerce, trade and investment opportunities between Queensland and Japan.
The QJCCI consists of both Australian and Japanese companies and individuals conducting business in Japan and Queensland.
The Chamber holds a variety of events with business leaders, industry experts and visiting government representatives, and provides a forum for networking to help members connect and succeed with their business endeavours.
The QJCCI is honoured to have as its Patrons, the Hon. Rosslyn (Ros) Bates MP, Minister for Finance, Trade, Employment and Training and the Consul-General of Japan in Brisbane.
The Chamber works closely with Trade & Investment Queensland, Austrade, JETRO, the Consulate-General of Japan, Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Brisbane and other various chambers of commerce and associations.
The QJCCI invites membership by individuals, companies and organisations who are interested in doing business with Japan.
